New Haffner’s Location in Gloucester, MA Now Open
Energy North is proud to announce the reopening of its gas station and convenience store location at 71 Essex St., Gloucester, MA under its iconic Haffner’s Brand. Recognizing the community’s desire for an enhanced convenience store experience, we have worked diligently with the City of Gloucester over the past several years to redevelop the property and bring Haffner’s to this location.
Haffner’s is excited to make its mark in the Gloucester community. Our reopening goes beyond reinstating convenience; it heralds a unique experience that sets us apart. Haffner’s Gloucester proudly houses Sal’s Pizza, Crack’d Coffee Bar, state-of-the-art Beer Cave, and features the premium Mobil brand. The redeveloped property stands as a testament to a new era in convenience retail and continues its history as the second oldest Mobil station in America.

The reopened location will offer three grades of fuel, including diesel, a beer cave, and a Sal’s Pizza outlet. The site also boasts self-checkout stations.
The Essex St. location will officially reopen its doors on December 19th, 2023, with a formal celebration planned for the Spring of 2024. Operating hours for the convenience store are Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sal’s Pizza will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
